I'm about to complain about OTF for the first time in the history of this newsletter.
Look, I’ve built OTF Obsessed around loving Orangetheory and that’s never going to change. So when I say I have a pet peeve about templates, please understand it’s coming from a place of being in love with the place.
Anyway, here it is …
I hate when templates have an uninterrupted 23-minute floor block.
You know the what I’m talking about. Just one set of exercises for the entire time. The coach goes through all of the exercises and then you’re just off on your own for the next 23 minutes.
There’s no natural stopping point and no built-in reset.
It’s just me and my ADHD-riddled brain.
I go to OTF specifically because I need both structure and variety. I need my brain to get a little "okay, new thing" moment every few minutes. When the floor is one long block, I tend to tune it and lose my focus. I prefer two blocks while three blocks is definitely my sweet spot.
For some reason, this doesn't bother me on the tread. One long tread block? I love it. My brain is apparently wired differently depending on which side of the room I'm on.
The good news is that most templates don't do this.
But when they do, I notice.
I'm curious if any of you have template pet peeves? I’m not talking about grievances like “the people next to me talk too much” or “that dude needed more deodorant.” Maybe we’ll do that for a Festivus-themed newsletter in December. (In fact, I’m writing down a reminder to do that this year.)
I’m talking about how exercises are laid out, how the rower is implemented into the flow … basically anything that OTF’s normally awesome template wizards can do to annoy you.
Write in and tell me. And who knows? Those template designers might actually be reading this and I’m sure they’re always up for some feedback.

Your Supplement Routine, Organized.
You're taking 8+ supplements. You can't remember when half of them expire. And you definitely don't know if they overlap. Get the SuppCo app to track nutrients, get scheduling alerts, and see what you're actually taking. It’s your health, don’t make it complicated.

📝 Notes
• April Calendar preview? A post on Reddit says next month’s calendar shakes out like this …
Monday, April 6 — OTF Foundations
Friday, April 17 — Inferno
Tuesday, April 28 — Orange Everest
April 24-26 — Dri-Tri Weekend
• Studio Closures: It was hard not to notice more than a few people in different parts of the country posting this week about their studios being closed or “merging” with nearby locations. That’s an absolute nightmare scenario for all Obsessives and our 🧡s go out to all of you!
• OTF vs F45: Has anyone ever tried both? I put together a post comparing the two chains. (Hint: I prefer OTF).

🏆 Milestones and Records
Shoutout to Katie K., who’s winding up the Transformation Challenge after a nine-pound weight loss and rightfully feeling very good about herself.
“I haven't really told anyone about this milestone, and it feels too small to really notice yet,” Katie writes. “But I'm really proud of myself for sticking with my routine and tracking my calories in a healthy way! I thought I'd share it with someone to celebrate.”
Way to go, Katie!

One Last Thing
This post reminds me a lot about last week’s newsletter and how’s there’s no such thing as a typical OTF member.
