What’s up, fellow Obsessives?
Hope everyone had a fantastic week and is enjoying this month full of power-based classes. I’ve definitely been digging all the templates so far in March …

When I started OTF Obsessed last summer, I tried to picture the typical reader that I would be writing for each Sunday.
But here’s the thing: There is no such thing as a typical OTF member.
And there’s no such thing as a typical OTF experience.
On any given day in the studio, you might have one person to your left going through their first class and the one to the right hitting their 1,000th.
You might go to an Orangetheory in Manhattan while the person you converse with on the Orangetheory Memes Facebook page is in the suburbs of Kansas City.
I might really like the run and rows, you might really the floor.
And that’s before we get to any of the usual demographic classifications, whether it be age, gender, sexual orientation, religion and tax bracket.
When it all boils down to it, I’d say there are just two things that tie all of us together.
The first is the ability and willingness to scrape up OTF’s membership fee. That’s a privilege in itself and I think it’s why your usual class skews toward people 30 and over.
The second is that we all want to make ourselves better. It’s the thread that connects everyone across every OTF studio, no matter what road they took to the room.
So when I sit down to write each newsletter, it’s with that spirit in mind. I love that Orangetheory brings all different types of people together and I know the odds are good that each OTF Obsessed reader does as well.

🏆 Milestones and Records
Congrats to Phyllis M., who recently hit class 1,500 at the Pleasant Hill, California studio! After hitting it, she went and calculated how much she’d spent at OTF the last 10 years.
“Worth every penny!” she says.

Shoutout to Phil H., who cut 11 seconds off his quarter-mile time from December and posted a 1:36. “Cardio definitely improving thanks to OTF,” he writes.
Way to go Rosa P. for setting a 10K PR in a Tread50 session this month … 46:50!
