It’s the week between Christmas and New Year’s, traditionally a time when many media outlets roll out their “best of” posts and lists.
OTF Obsessed is no exception.
I’ve had a blast getting this newsletter off the ground in the last six months and bringing the experience of the average OTF member to your inbox every Sunday morning. It’s certainly a privilege I don’t take for granted and one that I am enjoying immensely.

📆 The Week (And Month) Ahead
🥂 The Countdown (New Year’s Eve - Wednesday): An OTF tradition on NYE.
🗓️ New Year’s Day (Thursday): No official workout, but there’s nothing better than getting a workout on that first calendar day of the New Year. Happy 2026!
BTW, the January 2026 calendars are already out and about on social media and it’s a busy month. It starts with rare Sunday signature workout (The 5 × 5 on January 4), continues with an OTF Foundations on Friday, January 16, then a 1,000-meter row benchmark on Wednesday, January 21 and a 1-mile benchmark to kick off the Transformation Challenge on Monday, January 26.

🥇 Milestones and PRs!
• Stacy C. reached class No. 1,600 and celebrated a PR in the quarter-mile on the same day! “Not bad for a 49 year old!,” she writes. “I tied for first on the leaderboard (but) my goal for PRs is not to beat out everyone but to beat my younger self which I've been doing. Happy Holidays!”
• Christina K. is feeling good after hitting class #25. “It's a small milestone but I appreciated how Coach Mo and the class cheered me on,” she writes. Keep it up, Christina!

One Last Thing …
Oh, the words that came out of my mouth when I took my clothes out of the dryer and my two-week old monitor tumbled out … and the overwhelming joy I felt when it powered on like the previous two hours in the washer and dryer had never happened.
