What’s up, fellow Obsessives?
Hard to believe June is already on the other end of today, but it feels really great to be running headlong into summer. Here’s to not having to wear a hoodie to get from your car to the parking lot. (Shush, those of you in perpetually warmer climes!)

How to make Season of Strength work for you
(Whether you’re participating or not)
So OTF’s eight-week Season of Strength Challenge kicks off this week and runs through July 26. You can register through June 14 for $35 and that includes two InBody scans that bookend the challenge and a free T-shirt.
I’ve been a little skeptical of the new feature (mostly because I missed All-Out Mayhem), but there’s still a lot of value to paying attention to the program in the middle of summer — a time of year where it can be really easy to lose focus.
So whether you’re paying the $35 or not, here’s how to get the most out of these next eight weeks.
🏋️♀️ Track Your Progress
If you’re an official participant, you’ll be able to track your weight “scores” in the app. If you’re looking to save $35 these days (particularly in this economy), the Notes app on your phone or small notebook in your car after the workout will do just as well.
✅ Set A Class Goal Now And Protect It
The challenge’s official goals are either 12 or 20 classes, but you should feel free to set the number you want to hit and make sure you get there. Summer has so many potential pitfalls from vacations and barbecues to just lazing around the pool. Try to harness the same motivation that pulls us in January and February.
💪 Try a Strength 50 class or two
The wait lists for the Strength 50 classes at my studio tell me there’s plenty of you who love the Strength 50s. But there are plenty of others who have never tried the weights-only sessions (guilty as charged). This Season of Strength challenge is a good excuse to step out of our comfort zones and spend an entire class on the floor. If we can get in, that is.
⬇️ The Bottom Line
If you want the structure, accountability, data AND the t-shirt, the $35 is a small price to pay over the course of eight weeks. If you don’t want to pay the fee, there’s still plenty of opportunities to benefit from the Season of Strength challenge. Take them.
